My name is Stephen (Steve) Minch.  I am an apprentice sewing machine technician working towards my certification at the Sewing Doc Academy.  I have completed core training in vintage and modern home domestic sewing machine service, vintage motor service, foot pedal service and hook timing service.  

My wife's interest in quilting piqued my curiosity of sewing machines and how they work.  I find it interesting to learn how each machine is engineered and is different from another.  This inspired me to pursue training in sewing machine servicing and become an independent technician, starting Steve's Sewing Machine Service.
